As a QA Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the quality assurance process for our games, from initial concept to final release. You will lead a team of QA specialists, establishing strategies and best practices and collaborate closely with the Tech Department Leads to build a sustainable and quality oriented workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a team of 20+ QA specialists.
- Develop and implement QA processes, standards and methodologies
- Make sure whether all the company/products standards are met and review thoroughly the existing policies and standards
- Plan and prioritize application testing based on project timelines, requirements and risks
- Closely cooperate with Tech Leads to build sustainable workflows and enable support of the QA department early in the pipeline
- Overseeing automated tests and structure the QA department in order to support automation engineers in creating efficient and complete tests
- Participate in the recruitment process of QA testers
- Identify training requirements to improve production quality
- Monitor and analyze test results and defect reports, tracking issues through resolution and providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Establish and maintain relationships with external testing partners and vendors, coordinating outsourced testing activities if necessary
Professional Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA (last 2 years in mobile gaming industry)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership position
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and agile workflow
- Strong leadership skills
